Intensive and Immersion English Language programs provide English instruction to students who aspire to attain their academic, professional and social goals. Programs vary considerably, but the purpose remains constant. Regardless of the school location or particular courses offered, language teachers and administrators across the world strive to provide their students with the tools they need to communicate effectively in English.
Yet, over time, problems can develop that impede student success rates. Programs may have an outdated curriculum, or a transitional next-step level may be needed. Instructors may experience burnout and want to reactivate their initial enthusiasm for teaching. Students might find that the content being covered in class does not answer their many language-related questions. If not addressed, these and other situations may lead to waning program enrollment figures, declining student success rates, or diminishing student classroom engagement. When such symptoms occur, it is good to seek the advice of an external consultant.
